Assessments

At MindMatters Psychology Practice, we have a team of experienced Educational Psychologists who are able to assess children from a developmental and learning perspective with a wide range of academic, social and emotional issues.

During evaluations, we typically work with the child, parents and/or teachers but in more complex cases, will involve external professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists and medical professionals, in the assessment process.

Through our detailed evaluation process, we are able to identify the child’s strengths and areas for development. This information will be used to develop home and school intervention programs with realistic goals and recommendations.

We specialize in identifying and diagnosing the following:

Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome

Attention Deficit Disorder

Central Auditory Processing

Dyslexia
